Here they are, if you are in a 12 team or more league, and hes on the wire, go get him...
Matos since May 16th:
22/60 (.366) 11 R, 2 HR, 5 RBI, 2 SB and 3 BB
He has raised his OPS from .542 to .683 in that span

Bigbie has a jacked up toe... he might land on the DL

last year once matos hit the .300 platerau he never fell below it. the kid can rake, and after starting off slowly seems to be rounding into form. too bad he hits at the bottom of the lineup but still capable of decent fantasy stats.

Reading scouting reports from 2003 when I had Matos, scouts projected him as .280-.300 20HR 25SB at his peak. That peak is probably a few years away.

Who do you rank higher as a fantasy player Matos or Bigbie?

I've looked at these two guys side-by-side on my WW for a few weeks ... flip a coin. They are very comparable. Bigbie probably has a bit more power potential. Matos will probably steal a few more bases.
If you are anything like me, the one you don't choose will end up being the better of the two!

I've been waiting for someone else to pick one up and then I was going to take the one left. The other player I closely rate with those two is L Nix. Bigbie and Matos get more AB's though. I want to pickup Matos but the AB's that I've seen him have were not impressive. He's made some nice catches in OF which helps him stay in lineup. Gibbons injury also assures that for now. I'm not sure if the Orioles will go after Beltran or not but that could affect one of those two shortly.
