How and who determines the player rankings for Yahoo? It seems to me that Lyle Overbay is still ranked pretty poor (390th) and the same with Eric Milton (333rd).
The reason I am asking this is because the commissioner in our league veto's and rejects all trades by the rank and it is very frustrating.
An example of a trade that two other teams just did that was just vetoed by the commish.
Lyle Overbay and C.C. Sabathia

You're looking at his overall ranking. His rank this season is 116...

I still find that to be very high....
and guardado's ranking of 55 or something when he has 9 saves? I think that is pretty low.

Anyone have any idea?
Also. what does everyone think of that trade....b/c whenever it was vetoed, the whole league went up in a stink against the commish.

i think vetoing that deal was idiotic, who gave ur commish the job? as expressed in this forum many a time, veoting trades should be strictly used when collusion is obvious. if the last place guy give the first place guy soriano for uribe, thats evident collusion, when 2 ppl are likely cheating. someone on another thread put it best the other day.... if theres no collusion, let the adults make their own decisions. i think ur commish is on a power trip b/c theres no way a trade like that should be vetoed.
