it's ridiculous. i'm a huge reds fan, but casey is the most awkward professional athlete i have ever seen. he runs like a crab with ass-afire. his hair is vintage late-80s preppy. he physically hurts his teammates when he celebrates.
but damn, he has really helped to turn that club into something special this year.
I will admit to being a little bitter hear. I have waited a couple of years for this type of production from Casey. But I do not have him this year. So, obviously I am a little pissed.
How long can you expect Casey to continue slugging over 220 points higher than his three yr avg? How long will his OPS continue to be over 300 points higher? Those are HUGE jumps..What reason has he to finally bust out this yr?

i love sean casey!!!!!!!!!!!!! my buddy was IMing me at work about how d-train was workin on a no-no... and like clockwork my boy casey came through and shut his ass UP!
I read this board quite often, its a great board; but this is my first posting.
I haven't yet figured out how to do that nice quoting system to reply to other posts, but what benjapage wrote was hilarious if you've ever seen Sean Casey play. Being from Cincinnati, I have always thought it was funny, but never seen it described in such a hysterical way. Bravo buddy.
Casey looks like he has changed his stance a bit at the plate this year, and has more balance. He is driving the ball with authority; I hope he keeps it up and becomes the batting champ everyone thought he'd be 4 years ago.
