Glaus? Should I trade him now and avoid a headache later?

Postby Trade before too late??? » Wed Apr 02, 2003 9:34 am

I am considering trading Glaus ...I have watched the last 2 games and it appears that the wrist will be a problem this year ...As it is his power numbers have been decreasing since his first year...Should I attempt to trade him now, or should I sit tight ...These are my current options at 3B : Huff, Boone, Cuddyer, Blalock
Thank you ...

Boone is a solid backup, and assuming you can move Glaus for reasonable value, you should do it if you don't feel good about him.

i traded him...wrist was giving me a gut feeling, that and a great batting average, and had a couple guys in my league wanting a 3Bman. been a few offers my way and took one finally.

i already have 5 closers so getting veres means nothing for me but a possibility...getting abreu was my key...

my outfield now is bernie williams, griffey jr., and abreu...
infield is solid because i have crede and am keeping my eye open in getting teixeira as backup potential. posada / thome / kent / tejada / and crede....i'm not worried at all.

good trade. I agree, I think that wrist is going to both him all year. Look at Sheffield last year. Good move for you.
