Well, this is great news. So far I've lost Sexson, Wood, and Peavy and now somethings wrong with Halladay! I hate this game!

Typed "Toronto sports radio" in google. Found a site with audio (FAN 590) - of course I had to listed to 15 mins of Flames talk and then the horror "Halladay with some discomfort in his shoulder".

I'm done. I'm finished. My season is over.

Anyone starting a mid-season league?

Yahoo have Kershner down to start

I can't believe I'm saying this but I think Meche will pitch a great game tonight now and Seattle will win easily.

"they hope he can pitch sunday" see below

AP story from FOXSports.com

AL Cy Young Award winner Roy Halladay missed his scheduled start for Toronto against Seattle on Tuesday night because of a sore right shoulder.

Halladay, 5-4 with a 3.58 ERA in 11 starts this season, will be examined by a doctor in Seattle. Blue Jays manager Carlos Tosca hopes Halladay will be able to pitch by Sunday.

"There's a little discomfort in there," manager Carlos Tosca said. "We're just not going to take any chances."

Halladay, 26, was replaced Tuesday by left-hander Jason Kershner, who has made 19 relief appearances for the Blue Jays this season. He had never started a game in the major leagues.

Halladay has pitched in 78 innings this season after leading the AL in innings last season with 266. Last Thursday in Toronto, he pitched 8 2-3 innings in a 3-2 win over Anaheim.

Also Tuesday, the Blue Jays placed right-hander Justin Miller on the 15-day disabled list because of a torn right hamstring. The Blue Jays purchased the contract of right-hander Josh Towers from Triple-A Syracuse and designated right-hander Jesse Harper for assignment. Toronto has 10 days to trade Towers, send him outright to the minors or place him on waivers for the purpose of his unconditional release.

So, Halladay suddenly a buy-low candidate or someone to steer clear of?

Rotoworld:
Roy Halladay will have his sore shoulder examined in Seattle tomorrow. The Jays hope he can start Sunday. "There's a little discomfort in there," manager Carlos Tosca said. "We're just not going to take any chances."

They better not. Halladay was signed to a $42 million contract before the season and the Jays just don't look like they're going to get back into the race, so the team should only be thinking long-term here. Jun. 1 - 9:18 pm et

Lets hope this isn't serious, resulting from the last two years.
