Here's an idea for you. Since you are strong in pitching, but weak in offense, why don't you try and trade a starter along with an offensive player to get an offensive upgrade? A two-for-one deal would work out well for you. You'd free up a roster spot with which you can pick up Sheets, or some other decent starter, while at the same time upgrade your offense a bit.
Don't drop Beckett, though, he'll be okay as the season progresses. Opening day is often times really weird. Remember Pedro last year?
I know this one start is all you have to go on, but it is only one start. Phili is one of the best offenses in the national league and opening day is a lot of pressure. I think it is kinda retarded to think about dropping him already. I like the trade idea. Trade 2-1 and then pick up Sheets. That works out well. If you are so low on Beckett, try to trade him, but I agree, he is going to get better.

Thank you and everybody else for your advice. I'm going to sit with Beckett and keep my mouth shut. I'd do the 2-1 trade, but I know some other people are already looking into picking up Sheets and I won't have time.
And to the guy who said I played in a 5 team league....thanks for the compliment. Of the 12 teams, 6 are in their first year, I'm in my 2nd, and 3 consider themselves experts. I traded Mondesi and Cliff Floyd for Wade Miller, and got the rest after going Soriano/Shawn Green/Brian Giles in the 1st 3 rounds.
