Well, I was going to ask if I should pick up Damian Moss for Josh Beckett, but someone else beat me to Moss this afternoon. Kris Benson too. Should I pick up Ben Sheets (just dropped) for Beckett? What about anyone else? Or should I just chalk it up to a bad afternoon and a slow start? Because he looked horrible!!

someone dropped Beckett because of one game, and even then he only gave up 2 ER

I was going to say keep Beckett, but Ben Sheets is a stud. Who else do you have?

I sure hope you don't also have Maddux, Glavine and Halladay on your staff. you have a quicker hook than Jimmy Williams!

You cannot make decisions on players based on one game or even several weeks. If you do you will regret it as the season progresses.

lol, I know, I came close to taking Moss over Beckett though and thought maybe Monday was proof that I made the wrong decision.

I guess my real decision is should I ax Beckett for Ben Sheets?

Brad Radke
Josh Beckett

I want Sheets, but Beckett is the only guy I would cut.

Well, I would have taken Moss, but none of the others mentioned. I was kind of upset that I didn't notice Moss on the waiver wire in one of my leagues. I coulda dropped Penny for him!

Beckett still has potential. Of course, he had potential all last year and never really delivered, but don't give up on him too quick this year.
