Peavy was lights out in his last ST start - 10 K's in 6 IP. I like Peavu here ... 7 IP, 3 ER, 8 K's. SD wins 6-4.

That start was against there AAA team. I figure since they have there AAA team on the field in San Diego, then basically Peavy's start was against there AA team. Don't get me wrong though. I love Peavy but these Padres just can't hit, outside of Klesko. Brain say's Ishii, but I'll have my finger's crossed and pray for Scurvy's result's

I can't believe I just picked a Dodger pitcher, .. for anything ..

Damn .. I need a drink

wrveres, I think that start was aginst their A ball team.

I like Peavy alot, anyway and just grabbed him. I look to start him often, too. That K/BB ratio looked sweet.

Peavy has a great K/BB ratio, while Ishii's WHIP is just out of control. I think Peavy will suffer in wins, but make up for that in the other four catagories.

Ditto. Peavy will suffer in wins. But in terms of other categories like ERA, WHIP, and Ks, Peavy is the better pitcher. Put him on the Dodgers and he is significantly better than Ishii.

;-D After further review ..

These Padres are in alot of trouble this year. I can't think of one I would own outside of Klesko or Lawrence, and they are questionable.

And I thought last year was bad .. what was it 30 starters last year. 47 pitchers in all.

Ishii.

Another drink.

Peavy was almost light's out 5 IP 11 K'S 1H 1HR 5BB'S.
Of course it was against another AAA team. (Dodgers)

Peavy pitched quite wildly however 1 H but 5 BB. He will be a stud. So will Perez, but both are young and untested. Both Pods are K guys so thats quite attractive in 5x5 leagues. Good luck.
