Well I don't think going back 4 years and comparing 2 players is very accurate. Beltran is clearly getting better. Vlad doesn't have much room to get better. He's actually worse than a couple years ago when he was arguably the #1 fantasy player. Whther or not Vlad wins 4 of the 5 categories doesn't make a huge difference........because Beltran's 40 more SB's that he'll have will more than make up for it. You can say all you need is Crawford or Pierre, but then you're sacrificing an early pick on a player who will give next to nothing in HR and RBI. If it's a given that you'll draft Pierre or Crawford, then I can see Vlad being more helpful than Beltran. But I'd rather have Beltran over Vlad in a draft so I don't need to rely on a bad power hitter for my SB's. It's personal preference I guess.
