THIS IS GETTING RIDICULOUS ODALIS!!!

Postby perlick29 » Mon May 31, 2004 5:41 pm

The man should be in the running for Cy Young Award but instead he's losing 1-0 in the 7th. That makes 1 run of support combined in his last 4 starts. There is no way he should be 2-3 on the year.

I usually dont react like this but is or is not Odalis the most hard luck pitcher this year so far?

If he in't it would take a mighty example.

Forget the man crush. I drop what I'm doing to watch Zack Greinke pitch.

Add to that list Livan Hernandez. I've got both Odalis and Livan, and these guys are flat out studs, but they just can't get any run support. It's tough luck, but these guys are real stud sleepers.

no matter HOW pitiful an offense is (read: Dodgers), a guy putting up lines like odalis is every start is still extremely valuable. great ratio, era and even the K's are there, and the wins will start coming eventually.

a GREAT guy to try and acquire now from an owner down on his W-L record.

Don't forget Zach Day when talking about the Expos. His team has been shut out in 4 of his starts :-P
