Others i can think of besides Griffey are Bonds, Delgado, Bagwell, and i like Ichiro's.

I think I'll vote for Griffey Jr. fo the sweetest swing, but my next pick would have to be Alex Rodriguez.

A-Rod does have a nice swing. His only problem is that he makes himself look stupid reaching for a breaking ball nearly every at bat. From what I've seen, he usually only does this with less than two strikes, but its still pretty embrassing looking.

As for an ugly swing, how about Sheffield? If you see a pitch he fouls back, he falls across the plate and backwards. Its just ugly. Plus those violent wags don't help. Whatever works though I guess

I hate Ichiro's "swing" or rather running slap. Pretty soon he's gonna look like one of those softball players that start in the back of the box and actually run up the box towards the ball and 1st base simultaneously and just reach at the ball- slapping it rather than swinging at it, hoping it just barely bloops over the infield. I cannot believe people teach those girls that garbage "hitting."

Bags has the ugliest stance; I don't see how he doesn't just fall over standing like that.

griffey seems the consensus for sweetest swing (no surprise), but I am tempted to also anoint him "worst speed out of the box whenever he hits a ball out of the infield" (ie he is stopping to admire basically every ball he hits well and is resultingly getting alot of long singles).

He's doing this to avoid injuries I think...something which I can't say I blame him for.

Didn't see this thread before but I'll chime in now. Best swing in baseball belongs to my boy Jimmy Edmonds. Granted he misses most of the time but when he makes contact it's pure sweetness. Also gotta put in a vote for Vlad. I know it's not pretty but the pure violence in his swing is amazing.
