Advice Needed!!--Nen/Colon for Giambi

I am giving up Giambi and getting Nen and Colon.

I have Josh Phelps on my bench in a ten team 5x5 roto league. My starting pitching staff is Wood/Wolf/Pineiro/Weaver/Lawrence/Armas and my closers are Foulke/Julio/Baez/Looper.

Also, I wouldn't make this trade. Nen is hurt and Colon figures to have his era climb back close to 4.

well, Nen is on the DL right now, and most people are not predictign a repeat performance for colon. However, Giambi should have another big year, even without jeter, though that might bring him down a tad. I wouldnt do it. You dont really need either pitcher, at least not for Someone like Giambi. I dont know about your league, but Phelps is not eligable for 1st in mine, so you might want to check that too.

NEN has been placed on the DL...COLON is great but your pitching isn't too bad. its really your call, pause and wait on NEN's return while having decent closers already...is that worth giving up on GIAMBI...

i would pass on this trade than get jumpy on it.

again your pitching isnt bad off and what's the hurry..? 1 day into the season and your in panic mode...be patient, you have a decent staff and look for the up-comers and put them on your roster if you have room...NO NEED TO BUST UP YOUR TOP HITTERS TO STUD UP YOUR PITCHING...
