Should I keep Foppert???

i selected Foppert in the last round of my draft, but he's not available yet in Yahoo

since I'm in a private league, the comish says i can hold on to his rights until he becomes available, or pick up someone else and he becomes a free agent.

any suggestions? i'm in a 10 team 5x5 roto league, and my other starters are Schilling, Brown, Glavine, Sabathia, Weaver, Schmidt and Graves

If it's a keeper league, I'd hold on to him; in a single-season league, he's probably not worth the roster spot unless your bench is very large.

just to clarify....it is a keeper league, we get to keep four players at the end of the season

Four is probably too little, unless there's some kind of salary reason to expect to keep him. I like Foppert's potential, but he'll have his ups and downs early on. Looks like you'll be better off letting him go.
