He came in the 8th when it was a save sit...Montreal scored to make it a non-save sit...and they let Cordero finish the game. Is the future now? No. But he'll be closing sooner rather than later.

warrick...what you meant to say (I'm sure of this) is that he OUGHT to be closing sooner than later. And, of course, you're correct.

What I think happened is that you had a momentary brain fart and assumed that Frank Robinson would actually make a smart managerial move. That is, of course, a virtual impossibility...based on a quarter century of head scratching (hair pulling?) maneuvers at assorted locales.
