I thought he had some kind of miracle cream that stopped blisters from forming? Damn. I hope they caught this blister early. This guy is the key to my season. Then again if he has a dominant stretch like last year it could be the difference.
Oliver Perez watch
3-3, 3.74 ERA, 1.15 WHIP in 10 starts
23 BB, 8 HR and 72 K in 65 IP (9.97 K/9)
2 complete games, 1 shutout

Moises licked his hands (before spitting on them) during an AB on Friday vs. the Pirates. I couldn't imagine.

I read somewhere that A.J. was heading back down to A ball to throw on June 2 instead of the bigs. McKeon doesn't think he is ready.

You are correct
Florida is activating A.J. Burnett, who will make his return to the major leagues Thursday on the road against the New York Mets. Beckett's blister didn't dictate the Burnett decision, Marlins manager Jack McKeon said.
I swear I read somewhere this morning that McKeon didn't think he was ready......but when the injury bug hits........

What the hell is wrong with Becket´s hands? he should piss in his hands like Moises Alou. Better yet, call Moises and tell him to pee in his hands.

This could actually be good news in the future though, last year he missed some time half way through the season, then came back and was on fire down the stretch as we all saw throughout the playoffs.
