Roto vs. Head to Head?

Postby Mirage » Mon Mar 31, 2003 11:35 pm

I'm doing head to head for the first time... what are the differences between that and roto?

I heard someone mention that pitching is worth less... is that true? Anything else?

Oh, it's a 5x5 league.

Pitching is not worthless. As long as it is played right and you have a minimum amount of innings pitched so that people don't just leave SPs open and/or just use RP's and closers.

I think he meant pitching is worth less (two separate words) not worthless(one word).

Yeah, I meant pitchers are worth less than hitters. Is this true?

i almost find it the other way around. hitters go almost every day, where as pitchers dont. With head to h ead there is no max limit for pitchers, so I like to have more pitchers going. I have 5-6 starters and 5 relievers. ALl guys who can go when starters arent, and they still help with your categories, at least my 10x10 league. I have a few bench hitters for days off, but I would not say pitchers are worthless at all.
