Giants' closer Robb Nen says his shoulder is ready to start the season following his first outing against major-league batters on the spring Saturday. "It's a little cranky. But no big deal," Nen told the San Jose Mercury News yesterday. "We'll see how things go (Monday)." Nen underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right shoulder to clean up his labrum last November.
Get Nen in your lineup, but be advised that he may not be used on consecutive days at the start of the season. Tim Worrell and Felix Rodriguez could each see a save opportunity or two in April.
