There was no reason for Betancourt to pitch in this game. The Indians trailed till the bottom of the 8th, and then Jimenez simply came in and closed the game. If the thread starter was unaware that Jimenez was named the closer a few days ago, then he needs to get up to speed. Otherwise, he needs to learn how to read a box score and realize why his guy wasn't needed in this spot.
