Anyone know why Delgado was taken out early today in a one run game?

Considering I heard he would go on the DL (a few days ago), it must just be a precautionary measure or he really is hurt again .

They're saying it's a rib cage strain... he had a little grimmace on his face after taking a swing and was kind of hunched to one side while running down to first.

The positive side... it's not the knee
The negative side... it's not the knee

I'm waiting to find out more details too.

Good news - I am playing against him this week

Bad News - I am a Wells owner and no Delgado = no good pitches = no getting back on the power track for wells

However maybe they would use Wells's speed then????

He was taken out of the game due to a ribcage injury. They do not say how many games he will miss or if he will be placed on the DL. I am a Delgado owner and it is so frustrating. First the knee, now the ribcage. WHAT IS NEXT? I will not give him up though. He will stay on the bench because I have Reyes on my DL.
