what is a keeper league? i keep hearing about it, but i'm still not sure what it is?

A keeper league is just when you keep a set number of players from the previous year's roster, then the league drafts the remaining players. It makes the youngin's a bit more valuable. A dynasty is when you keep ALL of your roster year to year, making youngin's a near must.

Exactly. You play with the same group of managers every year. (Or if someone drops out another person will come in to inherit a roster.)

Pretty much what he said. They're cool if you have Pujols or A-Rod. You can keep them forever.

That's not necesserily true. Some leagues have built in contract "lengths" and some salary leagues raise the prices of the keepers making it near impossible to keep some players sometimes.
