I thought they were gonna work Service up because he was just called up. Thought Valverde would tget 1 or 2 more games while service gets ready. Guess not.

Service is not very good for a closer's role. With Mantei rehabbing and Valverde pitching not terribly, this doesn't seem like even a short term solution. I took a chance on Jimenez and it paid off but I would not rcommend service, Mike Koplove is a bit better answer if they throw him but AZ is so bad no one is getting chances.

Final Analysis: Let him get 1 save for somebody else, he could blow that 1 opp. anyway.
