i am afraid this is deeper than the pirate loss the reds where not hitting at the end of training either...and the 2 loses to cleveland really worry me more
but i feel they gave up this game, and i worry that there is gonna be alot of frustration played out over the pitching..which is gonna have an effect on everybody's numbers, i just get the jist that the boys think they have a solid team but will have to score alot of runs to win with the pitching the way it is (haynes was supposed to be the 7 or 8 inning guy that kept the runs reasonably down, and that went out the window with the 6 run 2nd)...and thats not good
griffey is gonna do some damage, kearns is gonna be solid and get better, and dunn has all the talent in the world but he is still guessing pitches and its gonna be rough going this season..i know im not saying much but i just dont see 1st or even 2nd teir outfielder numbers coming out of any of them, if the pitching cant keep games close they are gonna try to do to much...and this is what happens
needless to say i am not in a good mood right now
