I know it is only day one of a long season, but I have heard a lot of experts say that Patterson will have a great season this year and the first day he hits two bombs and 7 ribs. What do you guys think about this kid.

Personally I think he will do great. He has no pressure with Sosa and Alou on the team.

Comments would be great!!!

I was all over him last year thinking he would have a great 2nd half and he did pretty good. I think he will do very good this year, but I just missed him in the draft.

Patterson is the real deal. He just needs to work on his patience at the plate. If he keeps his composure, I project him to hit about .280, 25 HR's, 30 SB's.

i see patterson as an encarnation type player...he is gonna wow you then drift off for awhile...once he puts it together he will be harsh but give him time...and dont jump the gun
