1. is there another phrase for "mastery of survival"
2. what does self-awareness really mean, does it make him become a survivor and hero?
Intro
Can anyone spend twenty-eight years on a desert island all alone? The novel, Robinson Crusoe shows faith in a person to survive purely on determination and will. The island is he destined location as fate bought him there. The way that Crusoe adapts to the island is through his religion, his mastery of survival and his self awarness.
Thesis is last sent.
so here is my outline of essay
Religion
- talk about repetence (reads the bible everyday)
-talk about the "cross", it meas new life just like the Christian symbol = new life.
Mastery of Survival
- sucess in overcoming his obstactles,
- controls the environment, (landed in a unknown environment and makes it his home)
- master of fate and himself (early in book, frequently blames himself for disobeying father's advice)
- master of life ( made a home )
Self Awarness (the one i really help on)
- island existance deepends his self awareness
this is all i can think of for the last paragraph, does anyone have any suggestions?
