I have a draft tonight and (5x5)we have and extra IF spot and 3 UTIL spots..

What positions/players should i target to get the most production out of my team?

What positions usally produce the most Fantasy points?

Of course, OF and 1B are rules of thumb. Just keep an eye out for the best available players at just about any position when you have so much flexibility.

OF is probably the most productive position, but in contrast, it is also a position with most qualities. I tend to draft infielders before outfielders, especially 2b and ss because there aren't much talent out there.

3rd base seems awfully deep this year,
give huff/dmitri young/ensberg and a few other later rounds 3rd basemen a look..

don't target positions; target players. Just take the best player available for Utility spots. It makes no difference what position he plays.

i would say OF for sure and 3B, they usually have some power along with 1B
