It gets old having people question a great player. Sure he's not gonna be A-Rod, Nomar, or Renteria but he's still a top 6-7 SS. Who would you rather have for an entire season than him? I can think of only a handful who have a better track record than him in the last few years.

Jeter will have outperformed Renteria when the year is finished.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

BOLD prediction :-)
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.

I don't think anybody thinks that Jeter is done forever, but people have been waiting what seems like a long time. Jeter will return--but is he returning now? Or will it take until after the all-star break for him to get back to his old ways?

Jeter's fine. Trade for him now cause he's starting to hit like his old self.
