this topic is for all the frustrated adam dunn owners who are fed up with his lack of production, im dropping dunn tonight because im tired of him killing my teams Batting average. if you feel me then just type, im fed up.
what you mean have faith, ive giving dunn plenty of time to prove that he can hit. this guy can hit major league pitching, its very obvious and im fed up. his batting average hurts fantasy teams, especially if you play yahoo, youll lose that category every week. dunn has been hyped up as a great power but all ive heard is talk and no walk.
i hope someone didnt just try to compare adam dunn to arod because that doesnt make any sense. arod is oneof the top 3 players in the game. dunn is done
No offense, but if you drafted or traded for Dunn expecting him to NOT hurt your batting average, you were being foolish. Dunn will never be a high average guy. But he is an excellent source of power and even swipes the occasional bag. Unless you're in a VERY small league, a guy with his power numbers should never be dropped outright. Look for someone in need of power and try to get a more balanced hitter with less pop and a better average for him if it bugs you so much. Dropping Dunn because he hurts you in average is like dropping Pierre because he's hurting you in home runs. Or dropping Schilling because he's just killing you in saves. I mean, that guy can't pitch at all if it's almost June and he doesn't have a single save yet.
