i think odalis is a great pitcher, and will still get double-digit wins. see what i did, there? look out. i'll do it again later on...

No, they just say move it. They dont use honey either. And Latinos dont usually speak like Speedy Gonzalez. But im glad i help you seem so interested in our culture, keep it up

by the way in the dominican it is bamo but spelled vamo as in Go! Go! or Move! Move! Spanish pitchers on the mound (Zambrano, Odalis) say it all the time when they yell at themselves. Now as for Odalis we should all be yelling at ourselves over him.
Last 4 starts- one run of support, zero runs support, zero runs support, and seven runs of support that was later blown by a bullpen that decided to walk my grandmother and a small dog and another no decision. 4 starts and a record of 0-2. Absolutely ridiculous especially when those 4 starts were all excellent and legitimate quality starts.
Not andale Odalis but de mala suerte Odalis, which translates to unlucky Odalis.
Forget the man crush. I drop what I'm doing to watch Zack Greinke pitch.

the above was in earnest. below was in jest.
someday i'd have ended up in the dominican, trying to get some old lady out of the way of a fast-approaching loose pig...i'd have screamed, "andale", and instead of moving, she'd have looked at me and said, "honey, we're in the dominican. you don't say that here--" and the lost time would have cost a life. this board is so multi-dimensional.
i definitely don't think that latinos all sound like speedy gonzalez. my interest in latino culture is genuine. i didn't feel the need to "lighten up" in reading your initial post--i wasn't bothered in the least...just wanted to know how to say it (because i thought i already knew). i know "honey" is not said. carina, or carinosa, right?
