there are alot of good pitchers out there but which is the best out there for my team you guys think cause i know i got good hitting but pitching eh not very good. i know someone said i should get embree but isnt he a risk how boston is using a closer by commity?I know i need a good relief pitcher but who is a good guy out there that i could use? and if there is a good pitcher out there that i should pick up right away who should i release? i'm very weak in the pitching department well what i'm trying t say is who should i trade before there stock plumets at the begining of the season? or should i not even trade and just go on the waiver wires?

Depending on the depth of your league, your hitting is decent, but not spectacular. I'd say you have the most options at 1B in terms of trading. You might get some interest in Sweeney, otherwise I'd say you'd have to part with Delgado to get anything valuable in return. Top 2 pitchers are good, from there you're run-of-the-mill. I'd start Beckett over any of the other 3 after Zito & Wood. You could also drop Wakefield for another closer. You've got guys like Stewart, Baez, Looper, DeJean who might be out there. Grab Williamson (CIN) if he happens to be on your waiver wire. Otherwise, you can find temporary closers replacing injured guys or closer prospects (Ayala, Spooneybarger, German).

He's starting in the bullpen since the twinkies signed Rogers.Keep an eye on him though , with a hurt elbow or shoulder here or there he could be starting.
