The cards have gotten some steal in their day but have given away some great players to, like Keith Hernandez, Terry Pendleton, Andy Van Slyke

Cards get McGwire

A's get Eric Ludwick, T.J. Mathews, and Blake Stein!!
Remember the only reason they traded him is cause they didn't think they could resign him. Cards did the same thing when they got Rolen. Philly wasn't going to resign him so STL sent them Polanco and Bud Smith. And someone is going to do it to KC for Beltran.

January 10, 1991: Curt Schilling, Steve Finley and Pete Harnisch traded by the Baltimore Orioles to the Houston Astros for Glenn Davis.

December 9, 1965: Frank Robinson traded by the Cincinnati Reds to the Baltimore Orioles for Milt Pappas, Jack Baldschun, and Dick Simpson

Carl Pavano and Tony Armas Jr. Pavano is finally making this look a little better.

That's still a lot better than trading Pedro to Montreal for Delino Deshields. 8-o
