I thought that this was a tie between B Robinson (Orioles) and Yastrzemski (Red Sox) both played 23 seasons for their respective teams. Accepted as answer by leadoff1 on Sun Mar 30, 2003 9:16 pm EST.

Answer was Brooks Robinson who played 23 years for the Baltimore Orioles.

Sorry...Brooks didn't play 23 full seasons like Yaz did...but whatever.

Well, the question didn't specify full seasons. dinocam is correct: Yastrzemski and Robinson both have 23 to their credit.

I wonder if that record will ever be broken?
