The Importance of the Long Ball......

Postby BlueBallz » Tue May 25, 2004 6:22 pm

I love Guys that can hit for power...the may be obvious but some people may not think of it....Most roto leagues Go with Ave. , RBI, Runs, HR, Steals....Well 1 single home run gives you points in HR, RBI, Run, and helps boost the old average...therefore get rid of all of ure punch and Judy hitters and get some longballers...mix in a couple speed guys (pods, sanchez, pierre if you can) and you will dominate your league...Even if your guys don't hit for average they will more than likely get lots of HR, runs and RBIs which are 3/5 of the equation.....agree??

That is why I value Dunn even with his subpar batting average

Personally I thought it was because chicks DIG the long ball.... :-D

Ah, but I digress...

I still think Adam Dunn has hit enough HR or drawn enough Walks to the point were I see that he's worth a spot on a roto league team.
Yes, I was, uh... I was thinking about ordering the tape, the videotape... about the college girls and the... the wild... the wildness. They're going wild or something? Somebody told me... about going wild.
