Mark Prior - S - Cubs
May. 25 - 8:59 am et

In contrast to previous reports, Mark Prior could possibly make two starts for Triple-A Iowa, delaying his return to the Cubs until June 9.
Prior will throw tonight for Single-A Lansing, and Saturday for Iowa, putting him on track for a June 4 return. But if he's not up to 90 pitches by that time, the Cubs will have him make a second start for Iowa.

Interesting, though not surprising. They are handling him with kid gloves and no point in having him in the majors unless he is in game shape.

Great news for me, since I live in Iowa, I could see him pitch twice possibly, if that second games at home that is. ;-D

Yeah the other day he had a start and had to shut it down after 8 pitches due to pain. Heard this on Baseball tonight yesterday.

You mean Kerry Wood. Prior wasn't due to pitch yesterday, he pitched tonight.
