I was actually going to post almost the exact same thing, except in my case It's Rollins who's available and looking very good, right about now. I am getting very tired of waiting for O-Cab to turn things around. I figured one could expect him to be turning the corner by now, but there is no end in sight to his mediocrity. Ditto the Expos' combined mediocrity....... I'm not sure what to do......

Yeah, Kaz has O-Cab beat in almost every catagory except expectation and stolen bases. I'm tired, too, of the poor stats I'm getting. But, Kaz won't stay on WW long. Gotta decide!!
I would go get Kaz. Sure the Expos will wake up sometime, but when is SOMETIME. Kaz is leading off or hitting second in a pretty good run producing lineup with Floyd and Piazza hitting behind him. The same cannot be said for O-Cab right now and we all know C. Everett is an injury waiting to happen...again.

I agree on this one. Earlier in the season, with Orlando and vidro's slumps, everyone said wait until everett and nick johnson comes back. Well, Everett has been back for a while and he hasn't been doing crap. On the other hand, Floyd came back strong and with Piazza and the rest of his lineup hitting well, I'd have to go with Kaz. You have to remember, Kaz is a 30/30 threat. It became pretty clear that he won't steal 30 bags this year, but he still has the threat of 30 dingers. I'm a believer in Orlando, but I want to take a bet on Matsui's potentials.
i agree that you cant let someone like Kaz sit on the WW but i def wouldnt do a direct swap... maybe be work out a trade that allows you to get rid of either Cabrera or Kaz after you pick him up. but i also dont think that Kaz is a 30 HR threat.. lol...
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
