Helton's injury is now being classified as a strained oblique muscle, and while he's still scheduled to play on Tuesday, there's also a chance that the injury could place him on the 15-day DL, the Denver Post reports. "We will have to wait and see if it gets to that point with Todd," general manager Dan O'Dowd said. "We are kind of boxed in right now." This is going to be touch-and-go with Helton this week.

But, I'd rather him get DL-ed, get better and get back in the lineup than try to play through pain, or come back to early a la Big Sexy.

Sexson has a torn labrum. It didnt matter when he came back - torn labrums don't heal themselves. He could have come back in a year and it would still have been like that. With Helton, its only a strain.
