Blue Jays fans probably know this ... but it was news to me and good food for thought. One of the commentators pointed this noteworthy scheduling quirk out during a recent game.
The Jays do not play the Yankees (and vice versa) at all before the AS Break ... but they play them 19 times between mid-July and the end of the season. Tha pits them against each other in 20-25% of their games over a fairly short period.
I'm sure there are some fantasy implications there. Worth storing in your memory bank if you are thinking of trading Halladay or Delgado!
I'm sure there are other schedule anomolies likes this out there to be considered. Any others come to mind?

Nice tip. Can't name any series for sure, but with the unbalanced schedules teams play a lot within their own divisions by the end of the year. This will be good for AL Central hitters for example.
Oliver Perez watch
3-3, 3.74 ERA, 1.15 WHIP in 10 starts
23 BB, 8 HR and 72 K in 65 IP (9.97 K/9)
2 complete games, 1 shutout
