Anybody have any clue about Edwin Jackson...?

He's gotten absolutely torched thus far this year. Not many sites give in-depth prospect reports for each start, so does anybody have any? Especially for y'all that have watched him pitch in person. What's wrong? Is his control off? Or his stuff? The walks was the problem last year...no clue what's going on this year.

Haven't seen him in person, but I can give you some info. His stuff doesn't seem to be the problem, recently read an article were the other team said it was top notch. To me it seems like it's his control right now, which is common for young pitchers. In his prior 3 starts before his last one, he pitched very well and looked like he was making good progress. Then in his last he got hit hard again. I think it is just a matter of time before he gets his control under wrap before he starts pitching better. In his defense he is just 20 pitching in Triple A, which is pretty rare for a pitcher that young.

I've seen him and there's been plenty of discussion in LV baseball circles involving him. No physical problems, but his command is just plain lousy this season. A definite growing pains campaign.
