Will he still be #1 pick? Does Pujols/Beltran/Vlad take over? For this season I'm sure A-rod went #1 in almost every league. What do you think will happen this coming year, or even in mid-season leagues?
I'd still take him number one. I believe, however, that pujols was drafted ahead of him overall in the yahoo drafts. Beltran is more intruiging to me just because hes so damn good on a terrible team, and a deal at the trading deadline putting him on a good team (see New York, and I'm not talking about the Me(t)ss here) would really make the guy a deadly threat.

A-Rod did not go 1st in every league at all. Many people considered Pujols better then him. As of now I would take Vlad and Pujols over him (assuming hes not injured). Still take him over Beltran.
Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!
I would take A-Rod over Pujols and not even think twice about it. Yes, A-Rod is #1 this year, but next year he may not be if he doesn't qualify at SS. 3B is a deeper position.
Its kinda funny, but Arod's teammate Sheffield went first in my league. Everyone was completely surprised. Then Pujols got autopicked, and the lucky guy with the 3rd pick got Arod. Luckily, I got Beltran at #8! (my best pick of the draft). I think Arod is still the number one pick just cause of the 2 less deep positions he plays, although next year it will just be 3B unless Torre changes his mind.
ARod without a doubt should be the first pick in anyones draft. Those stats at SS more than makes up for the fact that his stats may not quite match Pujols. Next year when he's only 3B eligible then yeah, I can see dropping him down, but not when he has SS this year.
