For H2H I have a strong batting lineup that I dont change and I go with as many pitchers as possible, leaving 3 RP's active all the time and rotate starters. From time to time I'll drop a marginal SP for a stealer or multi-positional ie/ did this for Figgins and Feliz. Often I'll need a little more speed so I sub Figgins in. Top in both a private and a public league.

The guy in first place has two batter bench positions and three pitching benchs. He filled his RPs and Ps with solid closers and rotates his pitchers off the bench and the SPs. I was wondering the same question a while back and copied his strategy. I went from second to last to second place in three weeks.

I'm currently in 2nd place and I have 8 SPs and 4 RPs (closers) and I have no bench spots for my offense. Keep in mind there's no limit for IP. My pitching staff isn't the greatest, but I get alot out of the quantity of pitchers. In my H2H league, I almost always win Wins, Saves, and K's. My ERA and WHIP suffer, but if my opponent has a bad or mediocre ERA or WHIP, I steal those catagories sometimes. I don't think this strategy would work well in roto.
