Carlos Almanzar
He's sort of like Scott Shields....yeah I know, I know....why pick him up if Holds don't count. Here's why:
He's 4-0 w/ a 2.63 ERA & 0.75 WHIP.
In this league, I can change my line up daily....he was still available in my American League Only league. 10 teams, H2H
thoughts?

also many MR tend to go through phases when they're lights out and then they cool down... u dunno much about this guy so i can't say anything specific but i looked at his splits briefly... its not like he gives you stud K numbers or anything but he doesn't walk too many

.. also he hasnt been completely phenomenal at home. so as long as hes not some hidden phenom i wouldnt consider him in a normal non-holds league.. might be a nice find if youre in a holds league tho (until Jeff Nelson comes back at least).
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.

I agree with TheHat.
Another "super-sleeper" MR is Chad Cordero. He had a great ERA and will be on my team once he is announced the Montreal closer.
I need some help - with Greinke:

Not saying he can't keep it up...hell, Ron Mahay did wondrous things with Texas last year in a completely abberational campaign. So maybe it's Almanzar's miracle season. But he's sure not a guy I'm interested in, and he's sure no Scot Shields, either. Shields is a guy one can make a great case for, I don't think Almanzer is.
Who cares? Is a middle releiver, pick him and use him up while he pitches well and its wam bam thank you ball player. There´s like a million MR´s outhere
