hey, stranger things have happened... he COULD hit 30... but like, i'd guess 25-35 and i doubt he'd steal 30. but who knows?

i wouldnt bank on him for 30+ but it very well could happen.

If he stays healthy he WILL hit 30 or more. No way he tops out at 25, he already has 14. Even so, in terms of what he will do for the rest of the season... yeah, he'll slow down.

There were cynics all year and he hit 30, then 57!

In fairness, Gonzo wasn't 39 years old when he hit 57.

Even so, I agree with you, He'd have to cool down to hit fewer than 35 even. I expct that he will cool down, but honestly, he has 14 in 44 games. That's barely more than 1/4 of a season. Note also that MOST of these HRs have come WITHOUT Sexson in the lineup. I doubt that he'll hit 40, but it wouldn't come as a big shock.

Edit: I just want to point out, that it was almost by accident that I picked Finley up this year. I had just completed a two for two deal where I got Sexson immediately after his injury, and Lew Ford was the guy who was "thrown in" to my half of the deal. I very nearly picked up Laynce Nix instead of Finley, but then I figured, well, he did hit 3 HRs a couple of games ago.

I NEVER expected him to do this for me. He Burnitz, Vlad, and Giles are tearing it up in my 4 OF/Util slots.

Who would have thought that the best thing that happened to me in that Sexson trade was that I freed up a roster spot to pick up a guy I had no interest in who currently leads the majors in homers!

Of course I hope Sexson comes back strong too...
