Kaz just hit HRs in two consecutive games. Coors Field factor yes...
but will this spur him to greater things?
Your opinions?

They played at Shea...no Coors Field factor there. Shea is a pitcher's park.

Glad he got dropped last week in my league
Sad that I did not play him.
Guess he's earned my starting SS role.

i have no frickin' idea to be honest... actually when you see him run you see more like 40 SB's than the 20-25 projected for him this season... but his SB's in the last couple of years in Japan had also declined. i think he also said that he only concentrated on hitting this preseason. or maybe its just that he hasn't gotten used to the running game here (the catchers have better arms... faster picthers.... maybe its just different in the little things that oneone ever notices)... one could also expect him to steal a lil more since hes actually starting to get on base...

Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.

I thought this short clip about Kaz was interesting.
http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slug=scoutsviewkazneedstohelp&prov=tsn&type=lgns
It talks about how Kaz takes 4 seconds to get to 1st so he isn't as fast. I sure hope he does better. I just traded for him for Urbina. I had more than enouogh closers and my starting SS is Valentin.
