I'm in a 5 x 4 head to head keeper league. I have been offered Ichiro, Carlos Guillen, and Joel Pineiro, for Tim Hudson, Johnny Damon, and Carlos Guillen. My other outfielders are Magglio Ordonez and Lance Berkman. what do y'all think?

Well, I'm not one of the "experts" here but I don't think I'd do that. I really like Ichiro (in fact I'm trying to get him too) but you are giving up way too much. Damon and Hudson are significantly better then Guillen and Pineiro. Jeter is not quite Ichiro but he's close and he's a shortstop. (who's your back up ss?)

Unless you really, really, want Ichiro and you have absolutely no faith that Hudson will get back on track, I wouldn't take that deal.

Ok, in that case, I think the price is just a bit too high, especially with Guillen's suspected DUI, which might result in a benching, if not worse... Decline this one, even if getting Ichiro would have been nice.
