Furcal back, but how can I bench Rollins ?

Postby jbones733 » Sun May 23, 2004 12:01 pm

Rollins has played great the past week, 5 stolen bags, how can i bench him. Should I look to trade Rollins or Furcal or just dump Rollins when his hot streak is over ?

Don't trade Furcal as he has little value right now and most likely will have a good year here on out as he has looked real good before the injury and in his pitch hits... I would keep Rollins for a two weeks or so to make sure Furcal doesn't have a setback

I would keep Rollins in until he cools down.

I would dump Rollins for Royce Clayton as he's going to be in Coors for the next few games.

Oh wait, I already did.

I don't know about that. Believe it or not, Rollins is still young, and seems like he is determined to steal more this year....Royce isn't as talented to begin with, and also he rarely runs. In a 5x5 roto, I like Rollins MUCH better.

I'm just rotating shortstops in based on matchups and splits until Nomar comes back. It's worked really well since I started doing it a couple weeks ago. So for a short term solution I think Royce Clayton is where it's at ;-D
