Which guy would you rather have on your team?

Which one will be the better fantasy player for the rest of the year?

Matsui is a much safer bet but depends what you need. If you need steals then take Figgins, RBIs then take Matsui. I'd take Matsui though.

Kind of what I was thinking.

Chone has really turned out to be much less of a steals guy thanks to: hitting in front of Vlad and the Angels injury plague. I have a slight lead in my league in steals, thanks to crawford, and picked chone up as insurance. However, if he won't be stealing, does he have any other redeeming qualities? (that grand slam the other day was nice... but I don't forsee that happening again)

That's right ... Figgins has been stealing at about the same rate as Matt Stairs in recent weeks. Two factors 1) as noted above, place in order. That's key. 2) No solid green light to steal in non-strategic conditions due to concern over injuries. The Angels already have too many.

I'd take figgins for the SB's, which should resurface as soon as he's moved to leadoff (hopefully!) AND the runs this guy will put up in front of Vlad and the potent Angel offense.

Matsui is average at best, but does play for the hated yanks, so he'll knock in some and score some. On anyother team, this guy would be WW material. He was actually dropped in my 10 team league last week...

So if you need SB's and Runs go with Figgins - RBI's and @ 20 more HR's this year, take Matsui.
