For now, keep Dotel. Cordero isn't even the closer yet, but could/should be. When he is, it's a somewhat tough call. With Dotel, we know he is pretty good, so Dotel should be a little better.
Cordero is the closer in Texas. Which Cordero do you mean yet, because Chad Cordero it's not even close yet, take Dotel. I'd take Dotel over Cordero from Texas too though. Dotel's k numbers are sick. Era will rebound + more save chances.

I think that this guy is mixed up.
Codero has 14 saves and a great 2.20 ERA but look closer, his WHIP is a bad 1.408 and the Rangers are playing well over their heads.
Dotel only has 7 saves but he has better stuff, a 1.190 WHIP, a better team with a better starting rotation - Dotel is better now and for the future.
My bad - I was thinking of CHAD CORDERO - the setup man for Montreal. The reason I thought it wsa him wsa because I was just reading about him on my league page.
Now with Fransisco Cordero, he is pitching better than Dotel. Dotel may pick it up and perform better, but Cordero looks better now. Urbina had 40 saves in Texas a few years ago, so he'll get his chances. I think Dotel is still better, but has to pick up his game.
