I like Pudge better. He is a better catcher overall, but for fantasy, Lopez if he can get close to last year's numbers.

Irod is the choice I believe, though both are elite catchers.

I took Javy Lopez over Pudge due to his offensive stats. I thought Javy Lopez is a better catcher to have in a fantasy league. I do think Irod is a better catcher though!

Fantasy-wise, I like Javy Lopez because of the potential power he has that Pudge doesn't. I see Pudge as a guy who will bat .300 with 20-25 homeruns and 85-90 RBIs while Lopez can put up 30 homeruns, .290 avg and 105-115 RBIs.

I have both on my fantasy team and want to get rid of one...who would bring more value?

Personally I'll be surprised if Lopez ever hits 30 HR's a year. Last year was his brady anderson year, he is just not that kind of power hitter. If I were to draft C's I'd choose Posada > Irod > Piazza > Lopez but I would gladly without any hesitation take any of those 4 on my team.

You could try to deal Lopez, maybe someone will think he'll do as well as he did last year. I would rather have I-Rod
