Not a bad WW pick up in an American League Only League.

Nice job Jose. I hope he figured out whatever he needed to down in the minors. The Yanks sure need him back. ;-D

I'm surprised that anybody would start Contreras fresh back from the minors @TEX...

I wouldn't say he's back yet. He's pitched brilliantly in the past and then turns around and gets knocked out in the 2nd inning. I'd give him at least 1 more start before I start him, but if you're desperate he's a pretty good gamble IMO.

the yankees defense just took the win away from jose, too bad he looked real good. Although its hard to imagine anyone started him today.

how was Contreras after he came back from the minors last year? BRILLIANT. How will he be after coming back from the minors this year? BRILLIANT. That's why I traded for him a week ago. Got Him and Brad Lidge For Charles Johnson, JC Romero and Jacque Jones. It's a good deal since I needed a starter and someone to back up Dotel.

More good stuff from contreras to come.

contreras has good stuff, and the yanks needed him. that said, i started him in a h2h league, but not my roto league. he clearly has the physical skills, but he needs to work on his mental game. i still think he'll be fine, but only as a back of the rotation fantasy starter

I think in the 2nd half when (if) the Yankees are really clicking Contreras will be more than a back of the rotation filler.
