Sexson reinjured????????

Postby BGbootha » Sat May 22, 2004 6:04 pm

I am not watching the game, but i just looked at the game on Sportsline and it said.

"Richie Sexson of the Diamondbacks left the game in the top of the 6th inning due to a shoulder injury."

Anyone know whats going on here. He walked and then was pinch ran for. I don't see how you can hurt yourself walking. But then again who knows.

i can't find anything else. WHen i first saw it, i just figured that they were down by a bunch and figured no need to risk it. But then at the bottom of the game update it said he left due to a shoulder injury.

And to make it worse i benched Choi (1-2, 2 R, 2B, RBI) for him today. :-t

They were down an awful lot...so it's very possible that there's no problem at all, just being a blowout and his first game back, they decided to take it slow.

i still can't find anything else on it. It would still make sense to me that it was just a procaution, imean they were down by 9 at the time.

Sexson, who had been on the disabled list with a left shoulder injury until being activated Friday night, left after drawing a walk in the sixth. He aggravated his shoulder while checking his swing on ball four and will be re-evaluated Sunday

I hate to be the one to post this but...
I just saw the swing that hurt his shoulder.
He dropped his bat as he was in obvious pain.
I was listening to music so I missed all the details. Sorry I give such vague and unrepresented information, but it is all i have.
