Assuming he pitches well today against Oakland, should I wake myself up at 1 am to pick him up? (I live in NY - he'll be available at midnight CT and there are people living in the west coast that can get him at 10pm) I am in a keeper league. Thanks for the help-I appreciate it.

Oakland's not a good hitting team (you should have a decision made before his start today)...what WW priority do you have...how do you know a team isn't going to use their priority on him?

In my league, WW priority is only used when a player is dropped by another team. Greinke becomes a FA and it's first come, first serve. (Thank God - my priority is 10 out of 12-I used my fourth priority (when I had it) on Craig Wilson at the start of the year))

In that case, definitely get up...he's a stud in keeper leagues. I don't like him as much as others do, but I still think he'll be a top pitcher in the league. He's not the power pitcher type, but still extremely effective.

You'd better get a wakeup call for Upton later on this year, too...

I have E.Jackson on my bench in a keeper league. Is he going to see any time in the majors this year. Should I drop him for Greinke or do I hold onto both pitchers and drop somebody else (F.Rod or LeCroy.)

Pick up Greinke. And since you are in a keeper league, hold on to Jackson. Do not drop F-Rod (there are 2 - drop Felix is your league doesn't count holds-do not drop Fransisco). If LeCRoy is your backyp catcher, drop him.

Any last words before I set my alarm clock to 12:55 AM???

I do not know if he will be there when I wake up at 8 AM or if someone on the west coast in my keeper league may have taken him by then.
